Me, googling all of this: Jesus Christ, what a slimeball. If that’s your motivation to make art, do you even qualify as an artist?
Teacher: I think that’s a little harsh.
Me: I don’t! He’s influencing the way children think. If they’re listening to him, he has credibility with them. He’s teaching them that the point of life and art is to get sex and money and that’s bullshit!
Teacher: I think you are overestimating the amount of influence he has on their day-to-day life. I can’t even remember who I was listening to when I was that age.
Me: I don’t remember learning to read, but I still did it. Things and events can shape your thought process without you directly remembering them.

Me: If you don’t think “I want it that way” wasn’t a key developmental part of how we interpret relationships then you’re wrong and you can get outta my face
