Accident

So my buddy was in a bicycle accident and was pretty badly injured. I brought him some clothes and phone chargers and snax to the hospital.

Buddy: …yeah, and they had to give me an MRI.

Me: Was it loud?

Buddy: Not really! They give you these super cool headphones that cancel out a lot of the noise and are suuuper comfy.

Me: Yeesh. Don’t you have to hold super still?

Buddy: Yeah, but

Me: And you’re in this tiny, confined tube

Buddy: Right, yeah

Me: That sounds awful.

Buddy: Yeah, but these headphones though. They’re like sorcery! Just these… columns of vibrating air.

Me: I’m trying to gauge your trauma, pal

Buddy: It was the most relaxing experience I’ve had all day!
