Me: Even though anyone with any kind of limb difference or who is wheelchair bound et cetera et cetera can’t get up there?
Person #1: Yeah, because you’re here. Lots of places in this building are pretty inaccessible, but staff assistance makes it ADA compliant even if the patron can’t technically go there themselves.
Me: That’s… I have mixed feeling about that.
Me: But if me and my functioning legs are what make that area ADA compliant… doesn’t that mean the mayor should just authorize the payroll for more staff?
Person #1: Well, it’s funny you say that because this report I’m writing is actually for the mayor personally.
