Like, really really bad. Incomprehensibly bad. I started seeing these on cringey parts of reddit (places where people deliberately post stuff to make you cringe and don’t believe in whatever content they’re posting), and I thought it appropriate to share that, uh… this is what we’re up against?

It’s staggering to me how they miss the point so completely. It’s one thing for a Senator who’s just straight-up lying about human rights, but these are made by like, ground-level folk. Church-going parents and the like.
This, then, is the audience that we have to hit. Maybe we should make them some shitty memes. They seem to respond to that.
