Finished Yard

I’m really bad at remembering to take photos of stuff, but lucky Jilly isn’t. Take a look at all that wood-chopping from yesterday!

It looks like an actual space now! For humans! And then, a $400 Lowe’s trip and a few more hours of labor later, it looks like this!

I feel like I’ve checked off some big thing on the homeowner’s bucket list. Yard, fence, grill, lots of smoke coming out of the grill, bad jokes… I think this little yard might come in handy for some storytelling in the future.

And so as this, my final day of vacation ends, I relax by the smoker, ready to jump back into that library life first thing in the morning. Regular stories resume tomorrow!
