At Keystone Comic Con, Jilly noticed a familiar name.
Jilly: Hey, that’s Fred Van Lente. You know, the author of that book you gave me?
Me: Oh yeah, so it is. We should come back tomorrow to get it signed.
Fred Van Lente: I’ll be here!
The next day, we bring the book back.
Me: Hey! Would you sign this for me pl- hey, hang on
Fred Van Lente: What’s the matter?
Me: …You already signed this book.
Jilly: He did?
Me: You gave this to my supervisor at the library, who then gave it to me. You two probably met at PLA*-
Fred Van Lente: In this very building! In March. That’s hilarious.
So he signs it again. Enjoy.
