A couple months ago, a librarian friend of mine read one of my Today At The Library posts and told me that I have the worst patrons. That’s simply not the case. I love my patrons- they’re the reason I haven’t put any effort into seeking a higher-paying job, and they’re the reason I have this lovely little section of the internet I call home.
Unfortunately, my typical lovely patron doesn’t often lead to a good story.
So I decided to curate a specific collection of Today At The Library tales dedicated to those patrons who make the job worth getting out of bed for every day. I’ve been saving this collection for a particularly upsetting news cycle, and I figure “fake national emergency” is pretty goddamn upsetting.
