Me: are things worse? I bet they’re worse!
Bill: The city has decided during this great covid wave that all city agencies will be shut down for two weeks
Savannah: Really?
Me: YES REALLY NOW HUSH
Bill: …after those two weeks are up, we will be reopening, but only for curbside pickup.
Me: How the hell does the mayor know what “two weeks from now” looks like? Covid is consistently unpredictable. We need to shut down like in March.
Bill: C’mon now, this is hard for everybody. You know I don’t call the shots around here. I can only run this one branch.
Me: well at least I don’t have to get dressed for a couple weeks.
