Coworker: I just got it! I’m promoted, too. I’m getting bumped up to be a Library Assistant 2 in this department.
Me, shaking hands: Congratulations. You earned it.
Coworker: Word on the street is you’re headed down to Children’s.
Me: How the- I haven’t even told anybody yet!
Coworker: Come on, man. You know how fast word travels around here.
Me: I thought I was the gossipy one around here!
Hmm. You may have too much energy for children to keep up with, given what I’ve seen on this blog. 😀
I guess we’ll find out!
